Thank you for considering Brilianna Photography for your maternity session. We specialize in creating a luxury experience you’ll never forget. Together, we will create gorgeous, timeless portraits you’ll treasure for years to come. Our goal is to celebrate you and the miracle of life while still capturing the essence of your beauty and emotions as you await for the of your beautiful baby.
All maternity sessions are tailored specially to you with various artistic lighting setups, poses, and outfits. We will closely work with you on your ideas and expectations and will make sure your vision becomes a reality.
HOW IT WORKS
Booking
We will schedule your maternity session within the ideal timeframe, selecting a date and time that works best for you. Once the booking is confirmed with a deposit, you will receive a detailed session prep guide to help you prepare for your shoot.
Discover the experience
Upon your arrival to the studio, our talented hair and makeup artist will welcome you and will provide you with a complete makeover, enhancing your natural beauty in the most stunning way. We will then discuss your desired looks and outfit selections before beginning the session. Throughout the entire shoot, you will be provided with full posing guidance to ensure you are captured in the most flattering and beautiful ways.
Image Selection & Delivery
Within 7 days after your session, you will receive a link to your online proofing gallery. You will have 2 days to review your unedited images and choose the package that best suits your budget and needs. Approximately 3 weeks later, you will receive your beautifully edited images.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- A non-refundable session fee of $395 is due at the time of booking
- Evening and weekend sessions are an additional $150
- A 2.5% credit card processing fee will be applied to all credit card transactions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK A MATERNITY SESSION?
It’s best to book your session between 29 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. Sooner than later with every subsequent pregnancy, or if you’re having twins.
WHEN DO I GET IN TOUCH WITH THE STUDIO?
It’s never too soon to book your maternity session. We want to make your maternity photoshoot experience exciting and comfortable for you. We suggest getting in touch with the studio at least a month prior to your preferred date to ensure availability. We will try our best to fit you into the schedule at the most convenient date.
WHERE DO MATERNITY SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
All sessions are held in our Forest Hills, Queens studio.
Can I opt out of hair/makeup service?
Professional portrait makeup application has a huge role in the formation of the image and significantly affects the final result. I shoot with studio lights which highlight what might not be noticeable in daylight. In addition, a face without makeup will look flat & inexpressive. Professional makeup helps hide skin imperfections and draws the correct light and tone pattern on the face. You won’t reach this effect if you do your own makeup.
CAN MY PARTNER OR CHILD(REN) BE INCLUDED IN THE PHOTOS?
Of course! We love when families or couples want to capture memories together.
DO YOU PROVIDE WARDROBE?
Yes! Our studio provides a full wardrobe that includes an exquisite selection of beautiful fabrics, couture gowns, and lace robes.
HOW DO I GET READY FOR THE PHOTO SHOOT?
You will receive a detailed session prep guide prior to your session with instructions and suggestions on how to get ready for your photo session.
DO I HAVE TO BE NUDE?
Not at all. All of our maternity sessions are customized and tailored to the wants and needs of each client. Some clients prefer clean and simple artistic nude photographs and wraps, while others prefer to be fully clothed.
DO YOU PROVIDE RAW FILES?
We currently do not offer them. Why? We take great care to ensure that each and every photo from your shoot is edited and touched up to our highest standards. We want to deliver a finished product that showcases your beauty and captures memories you can treasure.
Will my images be retouched?
Professional photo retouching is included in your session, so don’t stress over little imperfections such as blemishes, cellulite, and body contours. We specialize in the most comprehensive and detailed editing and will enhance and transform images into stunning works of art.
